Hassan Hamza Asad Hashem Qatar’s Ambassador Extraordinaire to Somalia on Saturday submitted his credentials to President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.
His arrival comes at the height of strained relations between Somalia and UAE that led to the latter to disband military training of SNA soldiers.
Somalia had chosen a neutral stance in the 2017 Gulf Crisis although the Farmaajo administration has been seen to warm up to Doha in comparison to the Hassan Sheikh Mohamud government.
