The United States has contributed $420M in the last one year for emergency food assistance in drought-stricken parts of Somalia.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Dalsan, US Mission To Somalia Charge d’Affaires Marty Dale said Washington remained committed to ensuring prosperity and stabilization of the Horn of Africa country.
Dale told Radio Dalsan’s Hassan Istilla that the US will continue to assist in the fight against Alshabaab by training the Danab Special Forces and to build the capacity of the judiciary to enable proper investigation and prosecution of perpetrators of terror-linked offences.
