Armed group Alshabaab has cautioned Somalis against participating in the upcoming Presidential and parliamentary elections in Somalia.
Alshabaab spokesman sheikh Ali Dhere said the exercise is against Islamic sharia that is driven by foreign agents.
He called upon tribal leaders tasked to select members of national assembly not become ladders used to facilitate what he described as foreign agendas in Somali land.
Sheikh Ali Dhere audio broadcasted on the group online radio Al andulus underlined “war and killing” on any one who participates in the election process seen as the group as un Islamic.
