Two people were killed and one injured after the home of the former commissioner of Mogadishu’s Howlwadag district and now a member of the NISA Mohamed Ali Ja’far was attacked with explosives on Friday night by unknown men.
The dead have been identified as a child and his grandmother according to spokesman of the Internal Security Ministry who addressed the media.
The two were neighbours to the Jaafar home.
In the attack there was an ex change of fire between the assailants and the guards at the residence.
No arrest has been made as police launch an investigation.
