A Somali military court on Tuesday passed a death sentence to a Navy soldier Abdinasir Hosh Mohamed for the killing of Deputy Commander Said Ali Dhere, Radio Dalsan reports.
The verdict of the court followed hearing of a case probing the killing of Dhere at the port of Mogadishu on January 18 this year.
Mohamed shot dead his senior after an argument. The two were involved in a physical fight some days before the incident but their differences were resolved by an arbitration.
Mohamed is to face a firing squad.
