Government Security forces in Bardere town in Jubaland’s Gedo region on Monday displayed Abdinur Ma’alim Hassan who defected from Alshabaab to the media.
Mr. Hassan had earlier operated in South West state before surrendering to government authorities in Gedo region said he changed his past ideologies and is ready to take part in the development of his country.
Deputy Commander of Jubaland’s security forces Ahmed Mohamed Abdullahi “Garab Gooye” told the media that President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo’s ultimatum period for youth in Alshabaab to surrender themselves to the government authorities is still open.
