The cowardly attack by terrorists against the SNP underscores the terrorists’ misguided opposition to developing working institutions in Somalia that will benefit the country and lead to a unified, stable, and prosperous Somalia. The United States stands with the resilient citizens of Somalia as they work to eliminate the scourge of violent extremism in their country.
