The security agencies of Somali regional state of Jubaland have ordered the family of Alshabaab fighters out of the state headquarter of Kismayo.
Regional state spokesman has told the media operation to flush out fighters wives will start soon but Ahmed Arab urged them to voluntarily leave before forced out.
“We forced Alshabaab wives out of the city before but we have established that some of them returned but we will not get tired of removing the,” he said.
“We know where they live and we will not rest until they are out,” he added.
Armed group Alshabaab who were in control of the port city of Kismayo was pushed out by Somali National Army backed by AMISOM troops in 2012.
The group continuous hit and run attacks against the Juba regional administrations authorities.
Three people were killed on Wednesday when their vehicles run over a landmine near Kismayo.
