Hundred of Journalists attended his funeral for mourning.
They condemned the killing and called for investigation into those behind the heinous crime.
National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) and Somali Independent Media Houses Association (SIMHA) called for the protection of the media workers and demanded the security agencies to bring to book those responsible for the killing of their colleague.
Abdiaziz Mohamed Ali Hajji was shot dead in close range by two gunmen riding on a mortar bike on Tuesday evening in Towfiq neighbourhood in Yaqshid district, Mogadishu.
No one claimed the responsibility for the attack.
