Jibril Mohamed Abdulle has officially declared his candidacy for Presidential race in Somalia later this year.
The founder of Centre for Community Dialogue (CRD) that operated in the country and solved one of most complex conflict has declared his candidacy in front of more than 4000 people mainly delegates that attended his launch event on Monday.
Born in Mogadishu in 1969, Mr. Jibril holds bachelor sociology and public administration from Carleston University in Otawa, Canada.
He has vast experienced in the international NGO world working with UNICEF and among others.
His organization was instrumental in the reconciliation and state building in Somalia mainly on research aspect of federal system in the country.
Jibril is a close relative President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and worked with him in the NGO world from 2003 to 2009.
