At least ten people were on Thursday afternoon killed when a car bomb explosion hit the Somali capital Mogadishu, Radio Dalsan reports.
The car had been parked outside the Hotel Weheliye along Makkah Mukaramah road.
Most of the dead are pedestrians and street vendors.
At least ten people were injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack although in the past similar explosions have been attributed to Somali militant group Alshabaab.
