At least ten people mostly internally displaced persons have been killed in an IDP camp in Mogadishu on Monday.
According to medical sources more than 19 other people were wounded in the fighting that was resulted by skirmishes during food aid distribution in the camp.
Most of those killed died of bullet wounds fired by Somali government soldiers who were also involved in infighting.
Mogadishu mayor Yusuf Hussein Jimale has visited those injured in various hospitals in the city.
Authorities said they will investigate the killings.
