Regional administrations in Somalia have started selection process for the representative of upper house.
Jubbaland and South West states of Somalia have already started hearing and kick off of the candidates interested.
The states have earlier submitted names of the interested candidates in the upper house to the interim federal election commission.
Abdikaafi Macalin Hasan of South West state and Hassan Farah Hujale of Jubbaland state have been confirmed already as the first winners in the upper house representative in their respective states.
Also in the Puntland state of Somalia the process of listening to speeches of candidates was on throughout on Tuesday.
Among the ambitious candidates are Abdirahman Farole, current PM Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke and General Morgan.
Galmudug was the first state to submit the elected upper house representatives.
New regional state HirShabelle was also urged to speed up the process.
