A landmine hidden in a restaurant at Dalxiis village in Kismayo town on Sunday night, killing two people who were eating a dinner and wounded at least six others, witness have told Radio Dalsan over the phone.
Eyewitness said the blast at a restaurant “shook the ear” “I saw one body. Six others were bleeding badly,” were around the restaurant.
There were no explosions reported in Kismayo, Least couple of days security has been beefed up and jubaland regional state of Somalia ended Lower House election and submitted the MPs form that state.
Jubaland security officials didn’t give any information about the casualties about a landmine explosion.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, officials are blaming Al-Shabab.
Al-Shabaab is al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Somalia, fighting to overthrow the country’s internationally recognized government.
