A Somali journalist by the name Abdirahman Ga’an was on Sunday morning hit by African Union armored Personnel Carrier while he was trying to cross an intercession just in front the State House.
The English department of Radio Dalsan questioned Ahmed Noor an eye witness who was in the vicinity when the incident occurred.
“The journalist was crossing the intersection when he was hit by the AU’s APC he fell on the ground, but before it ran over the pedestrians nearby made chorus shout to stop the driver and he instantly stepped on the break to avoid the killing of the journalist†said Noor.
The entire AU convoy come to a halt and gave their follow up details in case anything seriously emerges. The journalist has been now evacuated to the hospital, while been unconscious.
