Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) have said armed group Alshabaab is planning a major attack on main ports in Somalia.
NISA said it has received credible intelligence information showing Alshabaab attack plan on Bosaso and Mogadishu sea ports.
According to Somali National News Agency (SONNA) Alshabaab militants seen at the small town of Garad were planning to attack Bosaso port.
The Intelligence agency said it put all security measures in place by beefing up the security to ensure the safety during this critical moment.
Alshabaab claimed the responsibility of suicide attack on Dallo airlines in early February.
The group said it was targeting Western and NATO intelligence agents on board the plane.
African Union troops and Somali security forces also foiled several attempts by the group to attack main International airport in Mogadishu.
