A heavy fighting between Puntland and Galmudug forces on Monday renewed at Garsoor village in Galkayo town, the capital city of Mudug region in Somalia, wetness said.
More than dozens of both sides and civilians have been killed in the battle and more then that number injured.
International communities, federal government and Somali regional states have called for an end to the fighting.
The minister for Information of the federal of Somali government H.E. Mohamad Abdi Hayir aka Mareye said “ Somali national army will interfere  the fighting in Galkaio town in Mudug region if immediately endâ€.
“I am calling for an immediate stop to the ongoing fighting in Galkayo; existing conflict should be solved in peaceful dialogue.
“Somalia does not need another war with aimless bloodshed at the moment,” the president said in a statement.
Several residents have since fled their homes for fear that the clashes could escalate. As Radio Dalsan reporter in Galkaio says.
