Somalia: Puntland delegation pulls out from crucial consultative forum

The delegation from the semiautonomous state of Puntland in eastern somalia has abandoned the hall where the consultative meeting was going.

The reason as to why the delegation pulled out from the meeting is said to be that they don’t want to see the delegation from the newly formed regional state of Galmudug present in meeting.

The international community is said to be engaged in convincing Puntland delegation to take part in the crucial forum, but it is not known to what extent they will accept the urge from the international community.

Since after the formation of Galmudug state the regional state of Puntland has not been satisfied on how it was formed, because part of mudug region which Galmudug claims remains under the administration of Puntland state and Puntland state dose not want to go into a compromise to give up this land which it administers.
