Somali Member of Parliament from semi-autonomous regional state of Puntland has been shot dead in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Adan Hajji was killed alongside his driver by unknown assailants in the capital before gunmen escaped the scene.
Somali police force arrived the crime scene for investigation.
No one has claimed the responsibility of the attack but armed group Al Shabaab targets government officials including members of parliament.
Nine MPs were killed in 2014 alone of which Al Shabaab claimed the responsibility.
