Gunned on Friday night killed a civilian at Bulo-Marer town in lower Shabelle region, Somalia, Radio Dalsan correspondent reported.
The slain man’s name is yet to be known but residents identified him as one of them.
The assailants escaped the scene after fulfiling their mission and no group has yet claimed responsibility for the murder.
Police officers have launched an operation in search of the gunmen.
There is inter clan conflict in Lower Shabelle region in Somalia and the southwest State is struggling to manage the fighting in the region.
Last week, unidentified gunmen killed a prominent elder at Bakaraha Marker in Hodan district, Mogadishu, reports said.
According to witnesses, the elder, identified as Said Sheikh Adam, died on the spot after her was shot by the gunmen.
And on Friday, Ilyaas Laari who was Shibis district administrator, was also shot dead by unknown gunmen in Somali capital Mogadishu, police said.
