More than 250 people have been detained in a security operation in Somali capital Mogadishu.
According to Ministry of Interior the operation conducted by the security forces in the capital was meant to ensure security.
Ministry of Interior spokesman three Alshabaab suspects are among those detained in the swoop.
Abdikamil Maalim Shukri said further investigations will be conducted on the suspects to identify the real culprits.
“Investigations are on and the security agencies will identify the suspects and after which they will be taken to court as soon as possible,” he said.
“The law will take its cause,” he added.
Somali security agencies have beefed up the security across the country mainly the capital Mogadishu ahead of upcoming historical Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
