President Sheikh Mohamud in Kismayo for talks

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has reached the southern port city of Kismayo which is the head quarter of the Somali regional state of Jubaland.

The President was received by regional state leader Ahmed Madobe Islam and other officials at Kismayo International Airport Upon arrival.

The two leaders are expected to meet and discuss national issues topped by the relationship between regional state and central government.

Jubaland regional state and Puntland have recently vowed to review relations with central government regarding ways in which central government is spear heading federalism implementation process in the country.

Puntland regional state was specifically against newly created Galmudug due to territorial dispute.
