Newly appointed Soma lia National Intelligence Agency (NISA) Jubbaland Chief was on Tuesday detained at the Kismayu International airport upon his arrival, Radio Dalsan reports.
A source within the Jubblaland regional government told Radio Dalsan that the new Spy chief had been rejected by the administration.
Mire Ali Duale had landed at the Kismayu International Airport together with his deputy Mohamed Ibrahim and received a rude shock when they were denied entry into Kismayu the administrative capital.
Duale is been detained at the airport awaiting possible deportation to Mogadishu on Wednesday.
On June 13 Jubbaland similarly rejected Farmaajo’s appointee to head the Somalia National Army SNA.
A plane carrying the newly appointed commander of the 43rd division General Ali Bogmadow turned back at the Kismayo Airport.
Jubbaland state official had told Radio Dalsan that then that no consultation was made with regional President Ahmed Madoobe prior to the appointment of Gen. Bogdamow as the commmander of the 43rd Division.
