At least 30 people were killed when a truck laden with explosives exploded close to a market at Kaawo Goodey junction in Wadajir District of Mogadishu
According to the District Commissioner of Wadajir,Ahmed Abdulle Afrah the truck exploded as it moved near a market killing tens of people.
The truck is believed to have been on its way to downtown Mogadishu targeting a hotel or government institution.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack but it has all the hallmarks of Alshabaab’s attacks
