Somali militant group Alshabaab on Sunday identified the suicide bomber of a second explosion that occurred near the newly opened upmarket Doorbin Hotel.
Alshabaab released an audio featuring a militant identified as Abdullahi Sheikh Adan Sheikh Gure who was in one of the two vehicles that were detonated in the Friday suicide bombing.
In the audio Gure sarcastically sends a message to the President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.
He also sends a message to the Alqaeda leader Ayman Mohamed Al-Zawahiri.
Gure hails from the Gedo region western Somalia.
At least 45 people were killed in the twin bombings and gunfight that followed.
