Uganda to send explosive expert personnel to Somalia

Ugandan government has said it will send explosive expert personnel to Somalia to help security forces counter terror attacks mainly in the capital Mogadishu.

The move comes just a day after Somali security forces said they have information on planned terror attack in city by foreign national.

Likewise it also collided with the surrender of senior Al Shabaab explosive expert Abdullahi Ahmed Mohamed.

Ugandan troops are part of more than 22000 African Union peace keeping troops deployed in the country under United Nation Security Council mandate.
