Somali Information Minister says Interior counterpart is crossing its line

Minister for Information, Culture and Tourism has urged Interior Ministry to give up planned workshop for Journalists.

Mohamed Mareye told Radio Dalsan that it is not the work of Interior Ministry to deal with Journalists or Media related issues. He said the ministry was not informed on the Monday federalization training for members of the Somali media.

Interior and Federal Affairs Ministry is organizing one day workshop on role of media in state building and federalism on Monday 15^th in Mogadishu hotel.
It has invited media related organizations and Journalists to participate on the Workshop.

Somali government departments usually clash on duty as there is no clear guidelines that define each and every roles, responsibilities and limits.
