NISA investigating mobiles phones used by Alshabaab militants in Mogadishu hotel attack

Fresh details are emerging concerning the deadly attack on Mogadishu ambassador hotel on Wednesday.

Somali Intelligence Agency NISA have got two mobile phones devices believed to have been used by militants who carried out the attack on the hotel.

Preliminary investigation indicate that the fighters originated from lower Shabelle region of Somalia to carry out the attack but undisclosed suspect in Mogadishu was guiding them.

Another reports shows that the explosive car bomb attack used was assembled in the capital Mogadishu and there is significant figure who was behind that Somali Intelligence Agency said is being tracked to face the law.

Short video clip that is crucial to the investigation was also found in one of the mobile phones as well as water and dates which was used by the fighters before the attack.

More than 15 people including two prominent members of parliament were killed in the attack and 50 others wounded according to medical sources.
