A butcher was on Tuesday morning shot dead by unknown men in the Somalia capital Mogadishu, Radio Dalsan reports.
The trader has been identified as Muhudin Osoble who operated a butchery in Sukyare market in Darkeynley district.
The shooting occurred a few minutes after dawn prayers.
Osoble was headed to his workplace after coming out of a local mosque when he was accosted by two gunmen.
The trader died at the scene of the shooting and the assailant fled the scene.
No arrest has been made as police launched investigation.
