Ugandan judge handling Al Shabaab case shot dead

 A Ugandan judge handling a case in which Al Shabaab suspects were charged was shot dead in Kampala on Monday night.

Ugandan Police spokesman Patrick Onyango said two men with motor bike shot dead Joan Kagazi heading home.

Mr. Onyango said the security forces are investigation the matter brings to book those responsible after the investigation.

The slain judge was leading a case against suspected Al Shabaab members who are alleged of carrying 2010 Kampala bombings in which 79 people were killed.

This latest attack against Ugandan government official comes days after US embassy in the country warned against terror attacks planned in the country by armed group Al Shabaab.
