Suspected Al Shabaab attacks Garissa University

Suspected Al Shabaab attack on Garissa University has reportedly killed eight wounded more than 30.

According to Kenyan police press statement the fighters stormed the university at 5:30am and engaged with security.

Preliminary reports say the attackers are still inside and taken score of students’ hostage.

Security forces have been called in for reinforcement.

Al Shabaab attacks targeted at Kenyan government installations has increased for the past few months.

The group claimed responsibility for Mandera governor convoy last month.
