The Director of Immigration Department Mohamed Adan has raised an alarm over what he said is a big number of foreign criminals wanted in their countries and exiled in Somalia.
“There are so many foreign criminals who committed different crimes in their respective countries have entered the country illegally in the past few years,and some of them gave birth here and stay in different parts of the country” he said.
The ministry wants all foreigners illegally in Somalia to be registered.
“These are human and have rights to be considered and also duties to fulfill,we have therefore prepared means of registering them to separate the criminals from the innocents” the Director said.
“we will ensure that the criminals will be forwarded to the security agencies and the status of the remaining ones to be discussed” Adan said.
