Somalia government on Monday said it would not sign a deal with IGAD member countries that will allow free movement of citizens .
Mohamed Jimale Koofi the Somalia Immigration Chief told the media after a two day IGAD conference to create free movement and free trade for all citizens said Somalia is not fully controlling it’s border and has no legal papers and therefore not ready to sign the deal because of the it’s interest .
Amb. Jamaludin Ahmed Ethopia envoy to Somalia also said that the free movement like EU benefited for all IGAD countries including Somalis since they are advanced on trade and move about the region.
Somalia has 5 borders 2 of them are under control of somalialand .
Ali Bin Ali the DG in the ministry of Foreign Affairs said Somali will benefit this but need to improve our security and taske our control of our borders .
This conference follows a second held in Djibouti.
