Somali regional state of Puntland´s Capital Garowe is set to host high level Inter Governmental Authority on Development IGAD council ministers.

Ministers of foreign Affairs from Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Sudan will expect to attend the meeting which is set to be held next week, Officials told Radio Dalsan .

The Security has been beefed up Puntland in Garowe city to cutter for the guest security.

Puntland has declared end of operation against armed group Alshabaab which has crossed over to its territory through boast last week.

According to security officials over 200 militants were killed and 46 others detained.
This is the second high international level meeting Somalia is hosting since 1985.

IGAD foreign affairs ministers meet in Mogadishu last year for their annual meeting to discuss the interest of the bloc which Somalia is a member.
