Relief For IDPs As “Farmaajo Care” Is Launched To Offer Free Medical Services

A group of local Somali university graduates and medical professions have launched the “Farmajo Care” in the Somali capital Mogadishu to cater for mostly the internally displaced people and the poor urban residents.

At least 200 people benefited in the day one of their free medical camp in Mogadishu.

The organisation is made up of medical experts from all fields.

Most of the IDPs, poor women, children and the disabled lack access to medical services because of the high cost.

Spokesman of the youth who carried out the exercise Salad Isse Mohamud said they will continue with their work of the helping people in IDP camps within the Banaadir region.
