Ex Puntland President Son shots dead his Mom

The son of Abdirahman Farole, the former Somali regional state of Puntland President is said to have shot dead his mom in Garowe city.

It is not immediately clear what led to the gruesome act.

Regional state security forces have reached the scene and are said to be investigating the cause.

Abdirahman Farole was defeated in the semi-autonomous regional state Presidency by former Somali PM Abdiweli Ali Gas in January 2014.
