Turkish airlines resumes Mogadishu – Istanbul route

Turkish airlines has officially resumed direct daily flights from Mogadishu – Istanbul.

The flight was suspended on February when an explosive attack was targeted at Somali airliner Dallo.

European giant airliner which started it’s Somalia route on 2012 was the first international airlines to resume flights to recuperating horn of African state.

Several passengers were shocked when it suspended it’s services on February but showed their joy upon reception.

Senior Somali government officials welcomed the crew at Aden Ade international airport on Sunday morning.
