Celebration for the speaker of the parliament of the semiautonomous state of Southwest Somalia honorable Abdikadir Shariff Sheekhuna is on Tuesday held in Baidoa town the headquarters of Baay region.
High ranking Somali government officials including the President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, speaker of the National assembly Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, the Prime Minister of the federal republic of Somalia Sharmarke and other international delegates attended the inauguration ceremony in Baidoa.
Southwest State of Somalia is among several other states in the country and still more others are on the process to be established of which the immediate one is the formation of joint of Hiraan and middle shabelle regions.
Somalia has been in a lawless situation for more than 2 decades, but ultimately it has now legitimate government which is international recognized and participating in the international conferences that take place in all corners of the globe.
