A weighty delegation from the Federal Republic of Somalia spearheaded by His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has on Saturday morning jetted off from Adan Abdulle International airport in Mogadishu. The target destination of the Somali delegation will be New York City where they be attending United Nations Security Council.
His Excellency Omar Abdirashid and the Speaker of the national assembly Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari and other government officials have seen off the Somali delegation to the USA.
In the meeting the President will be addressing the attending the meeting and will be mainly focusing the development which the country has made his term in office and the general situation of the country.
During their stay in the USA the Somali delegation will be having meetings with some senior USA officials likely including President Obama.
