Somali Presidential aspirant criticizes 4.5 power sharing system

Former President of Somali regional state of Puntland has criticized 4.5 political power sharing system in his country.

Abdulrahman Sheikh Mohamed Farole who recently declared his interest to run for the top job in the war torn country has described the system “as a plot to finish the existence of Somali nation.”

Speaking to Special Broadcasting Service of Australia, former Puntland regional state President added that the system is also used by selfish Somali politicians as a tool to towards the end clinch on power.

Asked about his view on his ambitions to become the president of Somalia in the upcoming elections, he said he has full confidence that he will be elected for the top position come august elections.

He promised to improve security if elected adding that he has expertise in the field.
