Somali President Wants Additional Elders into Election to Save Allies, Source

The President of The Federal Republic of Somalia is pushing for additional tribal elders into election mode to safe his long time allies.

Sources have confirmed to Radio Dalsan that very close political figures of the President are experiencing tough challenge from politicians of own tribe who want to oust them.

The source that declined to reveal identity for publication for security purpose confirmed that President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud longtime friend and former justice minister Farah Abdulkadir is among those the President is fighting to secure them from stiff challenge.

There are 135 tribal elders who will be among the decision makers in the upcoming parliamentary and lower house elections in Somalia who will be significant in the Presidential vote on October 30th.
