The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia has strongly condemned terror attack on Istanbul Atartuk international airport.
Wednesday morning attack saw suicide attacks and gun fire that resulted over 30 people killed and more than 150 wounded.
Press statement from Villa Somalia has described the terror attack saying it is main goal is only killing innocent people with no reason.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has called upon the world to unite against the fight on terrorism saying it strives only on shedding of innocent blood.
“On behalf of the federal government of Somalia I want to send my sincere heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Turkey on the attack,” he said.
“We pray for the quick recovery of the victims,” he added.
Somali citizens and government officails have also joined the rest of the world and taken to social media sites to show solidarity to the people and government of Turkey.
