Somali Police officers killed in Alshabaab attack

Three Somali Police force officers lost their lives when car bomb was targeted at officers under training in the capital Mogadishu.

The attack which was claimed by the armed group was targeted at Police transport and logistics headquarters in the capital on Wednesday morning.

Banadir Regional Police Chief Ali Gaab has told the media that the driver of the car is in police custody but in a critical condition.

Police are also holding another injured suspect in another attack that occurred on Wednesday in Mogadishu Waberi district.

Three wheel vehicle locally known as  Bajaj was used in the second attack.

Armed group fighting to topple internationally backed government of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has intensified its attacks in recent months.
