Somali-German carried Mogadishu hotel attack, Source

According to reports Somali-German was responsible for the deadly Al Shabaab attack on Mogadishu Jazeera hotel on Sunday.

At least 17 people were killed including two Chinese nationals after a lorry loaded with explosives was driven into the gate of the luxury hotel used by the diplomats.

Foreign experts have been spotted at the scene of the attack to examine the remains of the suicide driver speculated to be Somali-German from North Western Germany city of Bonn.

Somali security agencies have not commented on the new developments but sources said investigations are ongoing.

On February this year another Somali-Dutch national Lul Ahmed detonated herself in Mogadishu central hotel killing more than 45 people including two members of parliament.
