Somali entrepreneur develops New Cash machine technology

A Somali businessman is planning to launch his new Banking biometric fingerprint system in May, which will be a key asset for money transfer firms in Somalia and elsewhere in the region.

Liiban Egal who is a Somali entrepreneur has originated Camel Cash App to promote his commercial idea for remittance firms as he founded the project to ease cash transfer fears which has risen since Al-shabab took control key regions in the long troubled Somalia.

In an interview with Reuters, Egal said that he was in discussions with three US based companies facing closure due to transfer restrictions.

The First Somali Bank(FSB) is expected to launch this technology in May as the hotels, shops and restaurants in Mogadishu will be able to get its’ access.
