Kenyan fighter jets hit Al Shabaab base

Reports from Somali southern city of Bardere state that Kenyan fighter jets have hit Al Shabaab base near the city.

The cusualties still unclear.

The move comes after Al Shabaab said that it will respond to Kenyan MP suggestion for negotiations to stop attacks inside Kenya.

National assembly majority leader and close aide of Kenyan President Adan Duale has since rejected the claim in his official twitter account saying “they will and shall never negotiate with terrorist,”

Al Shabaab attack on Mandera governor convoy left scores dead last week.

US drone strike killed Al Shabaab top figure Adan Garar during an attack in the area last week.
