International community representative in Somalia have assured their commitment in helping federal government in the rebuilding of the National Army.
The assurance was made during a meeting between the envoys and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in Mogadishu on Thursday.
The meeting which was attended by UN Special envoy to Somalia Michael Keating, EU representative Michele Cervone D’ Urso, UK, UAE, Turkey ambassadors and among others also discussed the latest security development in the country and how to step up fight against armed group Alshabaab.
President Sheikh Mohamud has lauded the efforts of the international community in peace building and stability in his country.
He urged representatives of the international community in Somalia to continue their support especially in the rebuilding and equipment of the Somali National Army in order to restore law and order in his country.
