Armed gunmen have on Wednesday morning shot and killed Darkeynley deputy district commissioner.
Armed group Alshabaab have claimed the responsibility for the killing of Abdullahi Ibrahim Isbiimo who was also director of monitoring and evaluations at Banadir administration.
He was targeted by the gunmen at Salam neighbourhood in Darkeynley district.
Police have said they are investigating the murderers and bring to book those responsible for the killing.
