Assailants shot dead Radio Mogadishu staff

Unknown gunmen have shot dead Radio Mogadishu female Journalist.
Sagal Salad Osman who was part of state owned Radio Mogadishu was shot dead by gunmen on Sunday afternoon near Banadir hospirtal.

Eyewitnesses said she was shot several times and killed on the spot before the assailants escaped the scene.

The police have reached the scene of the crime and said they are investigating the murder.

No one claimed the responsibility but armed group Alshabaab targets state owned media workers.

Another female journalist of Radio Mogadishu Hindia Haji Mohamed was killed on December after explosive device that was planted on her car exploded.
National union of Somali Journalists and Somali independent media houses association has condemned the murder.

They called for immediate investigations to bring those responsible to book.
According to reporters without borders, Somalia is among deadly countries to operate as a journalist.
