Kenya police arrest Tanzanian terror suspect

The Kenya’s police are still in pursuit of Al-shabab suspects, who are linked latest attack on a university campus in Gaarisa town. .The Kenyan interior ministry said that three men thought to be Al-shabab has been captured while trying to cross border.

The ministry spokesman Mwendo Najooko said that another two Al-shabab fighters being detained in an operation conducted by the police inside the University premises on Friday.

He said that government has identified Tanzanian national Rashid Charles as the one of the attackers amid massive security investigations are under way now in the capital Nairobi, according to Najoko.

One of the four gunmen who cariird out the attack has been identified as son of a government official, Kenyan interior ministry said in a statement.

“We will fight terrorism to the end, I guarantee that my administration shall respond in the fiercest way possible” Kenyan President Uhuru Kenya said in a press speech after Al-shabab massacred 148 people mostly students in Gaarisa University siege.
